The "Chibi" series takes place during Germaine's younger years when she was being raised by her Grandfather, Ollie, a snarky old school New Yorker trying to deal with Germaine's erratic, goth-kid behavior, and trying to put up with her pet squirrel Foamy, who's always stealing everyone's bagels.  

This all takes place WAAAYYYY before Germaine became a depressed adult and Foamy wanted to rule the world... or destroy it.  Mostly funny, irreverent with a dash of wholesome :)
